To help with this, the guys at Red Website Design have created below infographic which provides an overview of key stats and trends to give your eCommerce website marketing strategy a boost. eCommerce Trends show it in clear numbers in the US where 8% eCommerce sales make of the total retail sales.  The numbers in the UK are still shinier, 14% of the total sales are coming over eCommerce. The eCommerce Trends are clear but still can improve.

The infographic shows that the top three traffic sources driving sales for eCommerce are organic (22%), email (20%) and CPC (19%), with display and social accounting for just 1% and 2% respectively.

ATTENTION: 39% of people will stop engaging with a website if it takes to long to load.

Given this, your SEO, PPC, and email marketing campaigns are likely where you need to concentrate your marketing budget.
